It has been a long time since researchers first tried to define the concept of empathy, but here we can think of it as an art: the act of stepping into someone else’s shoes and embracing their perspective as if it were your own.
Practicing empathy can be tricky, especially when it comes to feeling it toward someone who has wronged us. What if those we perceive as apathetic were exactly the ones who taught us the most about cultivating empathy?
In our 13th episode, we discuss what empathy means to us, how we apply it in our lives, and how we can become more empathetic without being taken advantage of.

Have you found your community?
Some obstacles might come our way when we think about dedicating a little of our time to doing what we love.
A never-ending workload, the transformation of social interaction into likes and shares, and financial constraints are probably at the top of our list of excuses.
We need to find labels not to define us, but rather to help us connect with people who share the same passions, hobbies, and life aspirations.
When you are an immigrant, the desire to create your own community may become even stronger.
Joining a community means understanding who we are first. And if you’re not sure, perhaps you don’t need to go through an identity crisis, but rather an identity awakening—one that helps you understand that not having a community yet is just as normal as creating and identifying with many communities at once.
And you? Have you found your community?
Share your thoughts in the comments and discover how we are creating ours.

What is heteronormativity, and how does it work as a lens through which we see the world?
We were taught that if something is not male, then, by default, it must be female. These seemingly inseparable categories shape the way we think, making us assume there are no other possibilities.
Very subtly, we become blinded by a world built on defaults — a world that can imprison us within narrow ways of thinking.
As we celebrate European Diversity Month, in our eleventh episode, we discuss the so-called heteronormativity and amatonormativity: what it is, why it is problematic, and how we can break free from this “default mode.”
But there is something that can help unblur our vision. Want to know what it is? Listen to our new episode and discover it!

Adulthood doesn’t just change our personal relationships — it rewires our identity.
We move from dependence to autonomy. From seeking approval to setting boundaries. From inherited values to consciously chosen ones. And without realizing it, these transitions redefine how we lead, collaborate, and communicate — while also shaping how we relate to our families.
In our 10th episode, we explore how we relate to our families, how our relationships with our blood-bonded loved ones have evolved since childhood, and how we cope with these transformations.
So here’s a question worth reflecting on:How has your relationship with your family influenced the person you are becoming?
Share this with your loved ones and tune in now!

Do you stick to the basics? In our fast-paced lifestyles, we often trade going through the core concepts of something new for trying to become a professional in a snap. What may seem like a smart strategy in the short term can actually harm us in the mid to long term. In our fifth episode, we talk about why mastering the foundations of any skill we want to develop is key to becoming a pro — and why we shouldn’t rush the process. Listen now and share with your friends!

Getting the news that your contract is ending can be quite overwhelming, especially when you’re young, a foreigner, and not as professionally stable as you would like to be.
From spamming companies and international organizations with our CVs to having to prove to ourselves that we are worth it — a lot — it can trigger anxiety, put us in a position of self-doubt, and make us rethink the highly ambitious career paths our younger selves once dreamed of.
How do we navigate unemployment?
In this 8th episode, in collaboration with  iTalk Project — a European-level think tank that explores today’s challenges to shape tomorrow’s change — we share our personal experiences of unemployment, how we coped during uncertain times, and what we did to stay qualified, motivated, and resilient.
Do you know anyone who is unemployed right now? Share this with them and listen now!

How addicted are we to technology?
Not long ago, we shifted from analog to digital. We witnessed the rise of the internet and said goodbye to our old brick-style Nokia phones as we welcomed the first smartphones.
But are smartphones really that smart?
Being constantly bombarded with information from countless apps and platforms can leave us feeling both informed and overwhelmed.
And it’s not just about smartphones. We seem to be in a race to become more high-tech, more informed, and more connected — yet, at the same time, more disconnected. Why? Because along with new technology came a new kind of addiction. What once promised to bring us closer together may actually be pushing us further apart, as we sometimes forget that life happens offline, not only online.
So, how do you handle technology?

Wednesday Mar 04, 2026

Wednesday Mar 04, 2026

What makes us feel anxious?
Fear of uncertainty, fear of being judged, social situations, or the sense that something bad might happen can all trigger anxiety—especially in overwhelming moments.
But what if we told you that anxiety can actually be a powerful tool to keep us motivated, rather than a beast that must be controlled?
In our sixth episode, we explore what anxiety is, how it can be categorized, and how we can better understand and navigate it so that it doesn’t control our lives.
Can you relate? Listen now and share your thoughts in the comments about what makes you feel anxious.
